The President is set to sign an executive order that will allow pet owners to bring their cats into a new waterpark on his property, The Hill has learned.
The new park will be in a renovated building at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The park will feature more than 300 indoor and outdoor swim-in pools with a capacity for up to 20,000 people.
The park will open in 2019, The Washington Post reported last week.
The president has also been eyeing new water parks and water sports facilities that would cater to his personal pet needs, including an aquarium and a pet-oriented pet store, according to sources familiar with the plan.
The idea of a new aquatic park came from the president after he and his wife spent two weeks at a swimming pool in Mexico in 2019.
The White House was not immediately available for comment.
