First, be sure you are prepared to make some alterations to your existing swimming hole if it has been renovated, or if you are planning to remodel.
If you are a beginner, make sure you know what to expect and are prepared for the challenges of a new home.
Make sure your existing holes are clean and safe, but also safe for your children to swim.

You may also want to consider hiring a local professional to help you build your swimming hole.
Make certain you know the rules of the swimming hole and have the appropriate equipment available.
Some swimming holes may require you to bring a guidebook and/or a safety harness for the children.
Be aware that you may need to borrow your guidebook if you plan to take a guided tour.
A swimming pool is generally considered a safe and enjoyable place to enjoy.
But the reality is that a swimming hole can be a challenge.
It is not always easy to find a pool that will work for you.

You are welcome to bring your own water, but you are expected to use your own towel.

The Austin Community Pool, which is located near the Austin Convention Center, offers an all-inclusive, family-friendly pool with a pool deck, swings, and a full kitchen.
Open daily from 8am-4pm.
Open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am-6pm.
The Alesanias pool is located in North Texas.
It’s a private pool and is open for a limited time, but if you need more information about it, you can call 877-942-2620.
This pool offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including the pool deck.
Open for a full day on Wednesday and Fridays from 8:00am-10:00pm.

The Swimming Pool at Austin Botanic Gardens is an all ages pool, open from 8-10am daily.
It has been closed since July 8th due to flooding.
Open to the public, the pool is well-loved for its clean, family oriented swimming environment and large swimming pool deck that is open to the water, the public is welcome.

The Houston Water Park is a large indoor pool, which has been open since 2006.
