Why does the bank give you an error when you try to withdraw your money?
The Bank of Canada has released a notice explaining the error that appears when trying for a cash withdrawal in its online bank.
The Bank said it will not be offering refunds on purchases, and will also be offering a cashback offer to those who withdraw cash on behalf of family and friends.
The notice states:The bank will not offer cashback offers to individuals who are unable to withdraw the money through its online banking platform, and it will be providing a cashout offer to eligible individuals to whom a cash transfer has been initiated on behalf to whom the money has been withdrawn.
The bank has also introduced a cash back offer for Canadians who have a child who is a full-time student, who has attended school at least 12 weeks during the year, who was employed for at least one year, and who has worked at least 25 hours a week at a job requiring an average of 50 hours per week.
A new $50 gift card offers Canadians a chance to cash out a gift card worth up to $100 and is available online, on the bank’s mobile app and at its branches.
The gift card, which can be redeemed online, is redeemable at a number of participating stores across Canada.
